The heart of our system lies in its unique construction. The Bed System features a specially engineered sandwich design that incorporates a heater pad between two layers: a durable backer material and a 1/2″ ATP-5 tool plate within .015”, and +/- .005” thickness tolerance. Our Demo units measure 0.08mm

The backer used in our system provides exceptional performance, over the markets standard. It ensures that the heater pad does not fall/sag or move. This allows you to work with various filament types, including those requiring higher bed temperatures, with complete confidence. “240c/260c rated”

    I think I was one of the first people with this bed, if not the first. I love it. I regularly print very high temp filaments with the bed set to 180c without issue. With thinner spring steel sheets the magnets shine through, but with thicker ones beacon works just fine. It takes a bit longer to heat up because it's thicker and the thermistor is in a better spot, but this is a pro as it ensures things are uniformly up to temp. If you print HT filaments this bed gets rid of some of the issues you may encounter.
